be supposed to / have to

be supposed to (원래) ~하기로 했다. but 하지않았거나, 일어나지 않은 일을 말할 때! 

말을 번복 할 때는 have to말고 supposed to 써야함

 

I was supposed to go to conversation hour in libraray, but i am feeling under the wether.(I don't feel like it).

-> ~하기로 했었는데(약속,계획), 하기싫다..

 

I am supposed to help my husband with his work experiments later.

-> (미래에) 하기로 했다. 약속했다.

 

This was supposed to come with a salad, wasn't it?

->(원래) ~해야되는거 아니야?

 

Who are you supposed to be?

-> 뭘로 변장했어요? (할로윈 때 어떤 캐릭터로 변장한건지 물어볼 때)

 

Where are you? You were supposed to be here by 5.

-> 5시까지 오기로 했는데 어디야? 

 

Why did you just show up? You were supposed to call first.

-> 왜 그냥왔어? 먼저 연락하고 오라고 했잖아.

 

You are not supposed to smoke here.

-> 여기서는 담배피시면 안돼요.

 

How am I supposed to know?

-> 내가 어떻게 알아? (처음 듣는 말일 때)

have to ~해야한다(almost 100%) -> more strong

should (의무, 도덕적인 일) ~해야한다 -> 까다로운 조동사이므로 피하기ㅎ
